Our Journey of Healing & Connection

What we do

As a wellness practitioner and spiritual guide, Sandra leads the institute’s focus on the “Lunar Living” cycles and the internal path of Yoga. Her work is rooted in helping individuals align their personal rhythms with the cosmic clock.

Through cosmic guidance, Vedic astrology, and holistic movement, Sandra empowers students to move beyond surface-level wellness. Her teachings provide the tools to navigate life’s transitions with grace, helping you find clarity, purpose, and a deep-seated inner peace through the traditional Vedic lifestyle.

Richard anchors Casa da Lua’s physical and environmental pillars. With a background in permaculture and sustainability, he views the land as a living extension of the Vedic kitchen and pharmacy.

As an Ayurvedic therapeutic massage therapist, Richard applies the “Science of Life” to the body. His treatments are designed to balance the Doshas and clear the vital channels, facilitating deep detoxification and rejuvenation. By merging the principles of Vedic ecology with hands-on healing, Richard creates a grounded environment where guests can experience the tangible results of living in balance with the elements.

Casa da Lua is more than a destination; it is a living laboratory for transformation. Together, we offer a path to restore balance, reconnect with your true self, and experience a total evolution of being.

Whether you are joining us for an immersive retreat, Ayurvedic wellness, or a spiritual consultation, we invite you to step into a life governed by wisdom, nature, and light.

Sandra Wilson

Co-owner and co-founder

Sandra is a seasoned wellness practitioner whose life’s work is dedicated to the integration of holistic health, ancient lineage, and spiritual evolution. With over 15 years of experience in the wellness industry—including a decade as a yoga studio owner in the Netherlands—Sandra now leads the spiritual and educational vision of the Casa da Lua Vedic Wellness Institute.

Her journey into the Vedic arts began in 2008, when she trained as an Integral Yoga teacher in India. Since then, she has refined her craft under world-renowned masters such as Shiva Rea, Simon Park, and Aadil Palkhivala. To deepen her knowledge of the “Cosmic Clock,” she is currently completing a 300-hour Ayurvedic Astrology (Jyotish) certificationwith the esteemed Dr. David Frawley (Pandit Vamadeva Shastri).

Sandra blends the structural wisdom of the Vedas with diverse healing modalities. Her background includes:

Thai Massage (ITM, Thailand) and Lomi Lomi (Studio Conrad)

Indian Head Massage (Lotus Amsterdam)

A formal 1.5-year Shamanic Apprenticeship, bridging indigenous earth-wisdom with Eastern philosophy.

Magnified Healing (Jos Gaya Mallorca)

Today, Sandra serves as a Lunar Living Guide, helping individuals align their lives with nature’s cycles through personal guidance and international retreats. Her mission is to empower others to find clarity, purpose, and inner peace by living in total harmony with the body-mind connection and the rhythms of the universe.

Richard Wilson

Co-owner and co-founder

Richard brings a unique blend of grounded leadership and ancient healing arts to the Casa da Lua Vedic Wellness Institute. With seven years of leadership experience in the corporate world, Richard understands the stresses of modern life, which led him to dedicate himself to the restorative practices of Vedic ecology and Ayurveda.

As a Certified Ayurvedic Therapeutic Massage Practitioner, Richard bridge the gap between the “Science of Life” and physical restoration. His practice is professionally recognized and accredited, holding DGERT (Portugal) certification and affiliation with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). Through specialized bodywork, he helps guests recalibrate their nervous systems and restore elemental balance.

Richard’s stewardship extends from the body to the soil. As a permaculture practitioner and plant-based cook, he views the land at Casa da Lua as a living pharmacy. He manages the estate through sustainable, Vedic-inspired practices and crafts nourishing, plant-based meals that serve as the “internal medicine” of the retreat experience.

By connecting the health of the earth with the health of the individual, Richard fosters a profound environment for total well-being.
